Source spent time with Andrew finding out about the businesses he had set up and then sold on for huge sums.

He set up his own advertising agency aged 22 and it celebrated its 30^th anniversary this year. He then started a premium rate telephone information service in 1989 and sold it ten years later for £7m.

He started a TV listings guide, which he successfully sold to the Yorkshire Post 18 months later.

He is currently chairman of leading equity release broker Age Partnership, which he founded in 2005. And in 2011 he founded Freedom Back Clinics with the aim of opening 20 high street branded clinics.

Working with Andrew Thirkill

With little known about Andrew we wrote a resume about his background and his successes and then sold his story in to all the business editors in the region.

Meetings were then set up with the journalists, which resulted in extensive coverage across all the key titles helping him to raise his profile in the business community.

Having begun the year with few people knowing about his business acumen, Andrew went on to win the Institute of Directors Entrepreneur of the Year and be a finalist in the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur awards.

Not a bad way to evaluate a successful campaign!
