Leeds PR agency, Source Marketing Communications has added an international string to its bow by securing the brief to promote Chinese firm, Star Prototype in the UK.

The rapid prototyping company, which is British-owned, is based in the country's Guangdong Province and promises Western quality at Chinese prices. Its core business is the manufacture of product prototypes which are used by designers to iron out any design flaws prior to production. 

Source's remit is to raise Star Prototype's profile in the UK, highlighting its experience and capabilities in key sectors including new product design, manufacturing and engineering.

Commenting on the new account, Daniel Kennedy, account director at Source said: "This new partnership proves that when promoting an organisation, it's sector knowledge and industry experience that really matter, not the company's geographic location."

Source represents a number of technical B2B clients including the world's leading cable cleat manufacturer, Ellis, and the world leader in both cable management and wiring accessories, Legrand.
