Expanding Source makes big name appointment

Leeds-based PR consultancy, Source Marketing Communications, has expanded its team by appointing Leeds Metropolitan University graduate, Laura Blanco-Medina to work across a range of growing and new accounts.

The appointment was made as a result of Source's increased workload for clients such as, Bupa Care Homes and Legrand, plus new client gains including specialist training and business improvement company, Bradford Training Association Limited (BTAL).

Commenting on Laura's appointment, director Peter Downey said,

"We have been planning to appoint someone for some time to help support the growth of current clients and assist in new business development and Laura was perfect for this role. She has fitted into the team brilliantly and having past agency experience was able to hit the ground running."

Laura joins the team with a BA Hons degree in PR and Marketing and valuable experience fromLeedsagencies, Brahm and Beattie Communications, together with in-house work at the Jane's Appeal charity.

"A lot of businesses are finding it difficult at the moment, so we feel extremely fortunate to be in a position to take on a new member through this competitive and trying time," added Peter.

Source Marketing Communications, which will celebrate its 10 year anniversary next month, is headed by Peter Downey and Steve Clark.
