They’ve got the second biggest selling single by a girl group in the UK of all-time. They’ve won Brit Awards, MTV Awards and even an Ivor Novello Award. One of their most famous songs will forever by synonymous with Leonardo di Caprio in his swimming trunks. And now one of the biggest girl groups of all time are going to top it all by playing at Yorkshire’s most prestigious charity event, The Firecracker Ball.

All Saints, who reformed for a second time in early 2016 with the intention of adding to the staggering 12 million records they had previously sold, will be treating guests at the lavish ball at Rudding Park Hotel, Harrogate on Saturday, 12th November 2016 to a medley of their greatest hits, amongst them Never Ever, Under the Bridge, and Pure Shores. In addition, they’ll be playing material from their brand-new album, Red Flag, which was released earlier this year.

Kirsty Guy, relationship manager from Barnardo’s said:” All Saints have sold millions and millions of records all around the world, won award after award, and graced the covers of thousands of magazines. They are global superstars, both individually and collectively, and so when they agreed to come and perform at the Firecracker Ball I honestly couldn’t believe it.”

“There is absolutely no argument that they are one of the biggest acts ever to perform for us, and I’m sure their presence will help us to better last year’s astonishing fundraising effort, which saw us raise over £320,000 on the night itself and breakthrough the £2million barrier for money raised since the Firecracker Ball first supported Barnardo’s in 2002.”

The theme for this year’s prestigious event is ‘Circus Extravaganza’, with guests set to be transported to a magical world when they enter the bespoke Big Top attached to the hotel.

Kirsty continues: “With All Saints’ appearance, the fantastic circus theme, other great entertainment, celebrity appearances and a host of money can’t buy’ prizes and auction lots, tickets to the ball are already selling incredibly quickly. At present we only have a few tables left, so I’d urge people to get in touch now rather than face disappointment in a few days’ time.”

In Barnardo’s 150th year, the money raised will make an incredible difference to the lives of the most vulnerable children and young people across the region, where the dedicated staff and volunteers tailor every Barnardo's service to meet the individual needs of children. Each service has one vital thing in common: a belief in the potential of every child and young person to thrive – no matter who they are, what they have done or what they have been through.
