Freedom Care Clinics is a specialist in treating a range of conditions including neck pain, back pain, postural issues and sports injuries. 

The Brief

Generate national awareness of the brand to support its nationwide opening programme; increasing footfall into its three centres in Leeds, London and Manchester; be seen to encourage healthy back care and offer patient advice. 

The Strategy

With smartphone usage rapidly increasing for texting and browsing emails, recent research prompted a look into how this was affecting people’s bodies.

A chat with osteopaths, chiropractors and massage therapists at the clinics confirmed that this was indeed having a negative effect on people’s backs and necks and enhancing their problems.

Gaining professional case studies, advice and tips on how to prevent and cure this new epidemic, Source put together a press release which highlighted the possible ill effects of texting, and offered advice to those who may have been suffering, or were in danger of suffering, from problems in the future.

The press release was tailored to the areas for the five clinics and sent to local/regional/national press and radio, consumer/lifestyle magazines and healthcare publications.

To add weight to the campaign Source distributed the press release during Back Care Awareness Week.
